Le bureau national d’Argentine se concentre sur l’assistance aux segments les plus vulnérables de la population touchés par la crise économique et la pandémie de COVID-19, tout en aidant à stabiliser l’environnement macroéconomique et en encourageant un programme de reprise économique et de réduction durable de la pauvreté.

L’Argentine est l’un des pays fondateurs de la BID. Comme tous les actionnaires, le pays nomme un gouverneur pour le représenter à l’Assemblée des Gouverneurs.
L’Argentine dispose d’un siège conjoint avec Haïti au Conseil d’administration pour gérer les affaires courantes au siège de la BID à Washington. Ce siège est occupé par un administrateur qui est élu pour un mandat de trois ans par les gouverneurs d’Argentine et d’Haïti.

- Relance économique et développement productif 4.0 : promotion de l'innovation et de la croissance industrielle.
- Stabilité macroéconomique et efficacité des politiques publiques : garantie de pratiques économiques durables et d'une gouvernance efficace.
- Transformation numérique : intégration de la technologie pour le développement global.
Chaque domaine aborde des défis importants tels que l'égalité des genres, la diversité et la durabilité environnementale.

L'Assemblée des gouverneurs est la plus haute autorité responsable de la gouvernance de la BID et est composé de représentants de nos pays membres.
Le Conseil d’administration est chargé de la conduite des opérations de la Banque et, à cette fin, il peut exercer tous les pouvoirs qui lui sont délégués par l’Assemblée des Gouverneurs.
Le bureau national d’Haïti entend contribuer à une croissance partagée plus forte et durable qui permette de réduire la pauvreté et les inégalités.
