América Latina sigue siendo un mercado atractivo para los promotores de la energía renovable. Esto a pesar de los grandes cambios en el sector energético en los últimos meses a nivel mundial. Las tecnologías renovables son vistas como una solución técnica y económicamente viable especialmente en países que cuentan con pocos recursos fósiles. A continuación resumo los desarrollos más importantes en los últimos años y en particular este 2015 para cinco países latinoamericanos que por circunstancias específicas se destacan:
