The objective of this technical cooperation is to support the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation of Costa Rica in the management and execution of the portfolio they have with the Bank, providing the support and development of studies necessary to strengthen projects in technical, socio-environmental, gender, people with disabilities, sustainable mobility and technology and innovation in an appropriate way, through, (i) specialized technical support that allows institutional strengthening to carry out an efficient management of projects using technology and innovation and ensuring for compliance with Bank policies and safeguards, (ii) The promotion within the MOPT of the inclusion of women and people with disabilities in the development of transport infrastructure projects and (iii) promote the development of transport infrastructure that promotes sustainable mobility.
