This technical cooperation has the general objective of supporting the development and redesign of processes and initiatives that promote the modernization of instruments and institutions for the promotion of exports and investments (REDIEX/MIC), as well as enhancing trade facilitation through the development of better coordinated border management (GCF) that allows for the reduction of costs and times of Paraguayan foreign trade.1
The specific objectives are:
Support the design and implementation of subnational strategies and action plans to strengthen the institutional framework of the country's trade and investment promotion mechanisms.
Support the design and implementation of aftercare processes that promote investment, increase exports, and promote trade integration.
Support the effective design and implementation of coordinated border management (GCF), to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of border inspections through cooperation between public and private actors.
