The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Government of Uruguay in the development of baseline technical studies for the implementation of UR-L1157, and; build on recent advances in the development and systematization of natural capital accounting and ecosystem services in the country. The TC supports two lines of action of the Program: (i) Line of Action 5 of Component 1 "Strengthen the capabilities of the Ministry of Housing, Territorial Planning and Environment (MVOTMA) for the development and application of Economic Instruments", and; (ii) Line of Action 2 of Component 2 "Promote environmentally sustainable practices".
