The objective of this TC is to contribute to the analysis and policy recommendations for growth and development in Uruguay. Specifically, this TC proposes the analysis and road maps of determining areas for medium and long-term growth of Uruguay, particularly in relation to new digital technologies, and thus support the strategic and operational planning of the IDB to contribute to high rates of sustained growth. These areas include: i) digital innovation and incorporation of ICTs in SMEs, ii) education, labor market and digital skills, and iii) productivity and exports in the knowledge intensive service sector. Although these topics will be addressed in a focused manner, the simultaneous coordination of these approaches will be essential to achieve integrated and multisectoral results that aim to obtain diagnoses and road maps with common and coordinated objectives. In this sense, it is expected that this TC will provide the necessary inputs to generate a strategy of public policies and interventions aimed at sustained growth and development of Uruguay. It is also expected to provide important inputs for the preparation of the CDC and the Bank's country strategy with the country planned for the next two years.
