This TC aims to contribute to mainstreaming natural capital into policy and investment decision-making processes by developing a standardized framework, customizable tools, and scalable training material for rapid Natural Capital Assessment and Accounting (NCAA) in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The specific objectives are: (i) to contribute to the mainstreaming of natural capital in select LAC countries through the implementation of rapid NCAA; and (ii) based on country-specific experiences, to provide the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Partnership with a standardized framework, customizable tools, and training curricula for rapid NCAA that support the integration of natural capital into policy and investment decision-making processes.
