The objective of this Technical Cooperation is to support the implementation of the IDB Group's Gender Perspective Employment Action Framework (MAEG). The MAEG proposes a strategy for mobilizing actions and accelerated investment in response to the COVID crisis to recover, create and transform employment in the region with a gender perspective, articulating the responses of the different areas of the IDB Group and recognizing the impacts differentiated from this crisis on female employment. The specific objectives of this TC are: (i) to support the process of transversal inclusion of the issue of employment with a gender perspective in IDB Group operations with special emphasis on female employment and dialogue to generate new direct investment operations with this approach; (ii) support the systematic measurement process of the contribution of IDB Group operations to employment; (iii) communicate the knowledge, interventions, and results associated with the MAEG to strengthen the framework.
