GovTech Lab: Digital Transformation of Municipalities Through the Generation of the Interface with Emerging Digital Solutions
This technical cooperation will contribute to the digital transformation of municipal governments in the region through their integration with innovation ecosystems. The objective is to generate technical and methodological capacity for the articulation of GovTech ecosystems in 10 municipalities of Latin America and the Caribbean. After passing through the program, the municipalities will be able to identify digitization problems and, through open innovation methodologies, approach, pilot and evaluate the solutions of new digital providers such as startups, scale-ups or digital SMEs in their territory or regions. Additionally, the lines of action of the program will help strengthen GovTech ecosystems at the regional level, generating learning, and consolidating a network of accelerators, incubators, investors, startups, corporations, and universities focused on generating innovative solutions for public institutions in the region. region, multiplying the effect of the project, beyond the direct beneficiaries of the laboratory in each city.
