The project`s main objective is the approval of, and commitment to implement, by governmental and non-governmental entities in the Bahamas, Barbados and Belize, a Travelers Health Program, including the furthering of its digital representation and other auxiliary tools, to support a regional strategy to encourage travel and enhance the quality and delivery of the visitor's Caribbean experience. Specifically, the TC will support the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) to: (i) work with participating countries to facilitate the advancement and implementation of The Caribbean Travelers Health Assurance Stamp for Healthier Safer Tourism (HST), (ii) the harmonization and expansion of an integrated online visitor health information repository system, and (iii) the provision of training and capacity building services to ensure a smooth and collaborative regional, national, and local health safety assurance efforts, including specific capabilities for instituting, tracking and monitoring health-related information in the tourism sector.
