CANEF: Paradigm Shift in the Non-Renewable Natural Resources Sectors for Latin America and the Caribbean

This Technical Cooperation (TC) will support the design and execution of a knowledge agenda to better understand the impacts and consequences of Non-Renewable Natural Resources Sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean. The project will answer critical questions for policy counterparts to build effective policy, while producing cutting-edge knowledge to understand the vertical links between communities and the extractive sector, the socioeconomic impacts at the local level, and the nature and development of non-renewable natural resources, amid new opportunities and challenges in the region. Analytical work financed by the TC will describe present and future development challenges of the extractive sector across the region.
