Support governments of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) to conceive and implement strategies for the digital transformation of their public finances. Through the development of business models, methodologies, standards, solutions based on digital technologies and strategies to strengthen human talent and organizational culture, the TC seeks to create knowledge that promotes the development of comprehensive institutional capacities in the public treasuries of the region to digitize key areas such as tax administration and public expenditure management. It is expected that with the strengthening of digital capacities promoted by this TC, the beneficiaries will be in a better position to: (i) increase tax collection and limit distortions in tax policy that affect productivity; (ii) improve the efficiency and quality of spending; and (iii) improve fiscal transparency.
