The purpose of the proposed emergency assistance is to provide support to Paraguay in the execution of humanitarian assistance actions in order to partially mitigate the emergency situation currently facing the affected area of ​​the country, specifically in Ñeembucú and Presidente Hayes. Such actions could include attention to essential needs; supplies, medicines, transportation, and other materials that meet the immediate needs of the affected population. Provision is made for the acquisition of goods for: (i) drinking water, food and basic necessities; and (ii) provide support in the provision of relief and transportation of said elements to the affected areas (e.g., rental of transportation equipment and fuels) and any other goods necessary to meet the basic humanitarian needs of the population affected by the emergency.
