The objective of the technical cooperation is to strengthen the Integrated System for the Improvement of Educational Quality (SIMECE), particularly with regard to the evaluation of learning. To this end, MEDUCA has invited officials from five countries in the region to learn about Panama's experience in evaluation, and obtain feedback on the actions the country has undertaken. In turn, it is expected that officials from these countries share with MEDUCA officials their own experiences and lessons learned in terms of processes to improve the quality of education, particularly in the subject of evaluation of learning and the establishment of systems for evaluating these.
