The objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to contribute to improving the accessibility conditions of rural and vulnerable communities in Nicaragua, strengthening the criteria of Vision 2025 in existing sectoral policies, and in the planning processes and feasibility analysis of projects. of transport in the country, in the short and medium-term. The specific objectives are: (i) to strengthen road planning in Nicaragua through an updated feasibility analysis of specific projects and programs, in alignment with sector priorities; (ii) to contribute to the country's post-COVID-19 economic recovery needs, particularly in the area of ​​logistics and connectivity for growth and productivity; (iii) contribute to the alignment of investment priorities with the sector development objectives of the Bank's Country Strategy, with the Transportation Sector Framework, and with the Bank's 2025 Vision; (iv) will contribute to the alignment with the post-COVID19 recovery strategy, particularly in the area of ​​logistics and connectivity for growth and productivity; and (v) contribute to alignment with the access strategy for the most vulnerable populations, with criteria of gender equity, inclusion, and sustainability.
