The overall objective of the TC is to strengthen scientific research and innovation capacities to address the productive and social challenges of the country's strategic value chains, with a gender perspective, for sustainable, lasting, and inclusive economic growth. This will be achieved through three specific objectives: (1) increase knowledge about the current state of the National Science, Technology, and Innovation System (SNCTI); (2) strengthen institutional capacities to design, implement and evaluate programs and instruments in the area; and (3) enhance the visibility of the project results and lessons learned to ensure that they become key inputs in the country's political and strategic agenda at the national and subnational levels.
