The objective of the technical cooperation is to review the restructuring law of BANHPROVI with the objective that the institution can operate with greater flexibility to develop and offer more financial products with a focus on development. This review will provide a series of recommendations for operational and capital strengthening that will make BANHPROVI the central axis of the Development Bank in Honduras. It is expected that the TC will also collaborate with the creation of new financial products with special emphasis on productive financing serving rural sectors with limited coverage by the traditional banking.
