The TC objective is to support the Government of Dominican Republic in the development of a program of restoration of strategic beaches in the country, with an approach combining integrated coastal zone management, climate change adaptation and sustainable coastal tourism. The specific objectives are: i) carry out, planning, design and feasibility studies for the restoration and integrated coastal zone management of strategic beaches and coasts, and ii) to strengthen institutional capacities for integrated coastal zone management.
