Master Plan for Integral Management and Sustainable Use of the Magdalena River Basin.
The general objective of this TC is to promote the integral and sustainable management of the Magdalena River Basin in Colombia, considering its environmental, social, economic and cultural dimensions. Specific objectives of the TC are: (i) to provide technical support the Colombian Government to update the Management Plan of the River (PMC) and establish a Master Plan for Integral Management and Sustainable Use of the Magdalena River Basin; and (ii) to support the institutional strengthening of Cormagdalena as integral manager of the River that can effectively exercise leadership on the environmental, social, economic, and technical management of the river.
