Meaningful Development and Learning Opportunities for Young Venezuelan Children and their Families

The project aims to expand and improve access to ECD services to support children aged 0-5 and their families, including pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, of an extremely vulnerable segment of the Venezuelan migrant population known as "Los Caminantes" (the walkers). First, we will increase the network of Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) operating across the four main routes established in the country in 5 additional temporal facilities. Second, through face-to-face activities and behavior change interventions, supported by the establishment and promotion of a mobile-phone based application, we will provide parents with key information on child development during their way across Colombia.
