The general objective of the TC is to expand the access of the population of rural areas and traditional communities to adequate and sustainable basic sanitation actions and services, through the implementation of the PSBR and through the following specific objectives: i) Strengthen the management articulated between Funasa and the agencies linked to the issue of rural sanitation at the federal level, in the states, municipalities and communities selected in the field of cooperation; ii) Qualify human resources at the national, state, municipal and local levels for the development of comprehensive and sustainable basic sanitation actions in rural areas and traditional communities in their territories; iii) Exchange experiences on tariff models used in other Latin American countries, such as the Saba Model implemented in Peru; iv) Contribute to the technological development of sanitation solutions appropriate to Brazilian rural realities, expanding the technological matrix at the household and community level.
