The objective of the TC is to support the implementation of the Program for the Improvement of Accessibility to Maternal and Neonatal Health Services in Bolivia (BO-L1198). Technical assistance services will be financed in order to contribute specialized technical expertise and strengthen the institutional capacity of the SEDES and the Ministry of Health in the following areas: (i) monitoring and follow up of performance indicators; (ii) intercultural adaptation of the care model; (iii) education and promotion programs aimed at the general population and at schools ("healthy schools") on aspects of sexual and reproductive health, (iv) introduction of aspects of technological innovation in both the care and information systems for health, and (v) specific actions related to eclampsia due to altitude.
