RG-T3665 : Promoting Cooperation among Subnational Governments in Latin America & Caribbean III

The objective of this technical cooperation is to continue promoting innovation in public management as a tool for strengthening public institutions and the provision of citizen services in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) through the recognition and dissemination of good practices by sub-national governments. To this end, the TC will support new editions of the contest Gobernarte: el arte del buen gobierno (Gobernarte), the dissemination of the winning initiatives and the exchange of knowledge among governments. The specific objectives are: (i) to identify and recognize innovations in the public sector, particularly those using new technologies; (ii) to increase the visibility of innovative advances in public management at the sub-national level of government; and (iii) to promote South-South cooperation and knowledge exchange among sub-national governments.
