RG-T3494 : CANEF: Promoting Gender Equality, Leadership and Best Practices in the Mining-Energy Sector Phase II

To strengthen the capacity of the mining and energy sector to promote gender equality through the generation of concrete actions and public and private policies aimed at increasing female participation through strategic alliances. This project will achieve its objectives by: (i) promoting best practices through gender gap assessments, training and policy recommendations and action plans for its implementation in sector institutions; (ii) strengthen the management and leadership capacity of women in mid-level management, through an intervention program that highlights women's leadership in the sector, (iii) coordinate and generate public-private strategic alliances for the joint promotion of gender equality , and (iv) systematize and disseminate the intervention model for its expansion and replicability in other countries of the region.
