RG-T2828 : Inter-American Technical Support Center (TSC) for Applied Water Resources Management

The TSC will support capacity building of water resource management and water supply institutions at the national, subnational, and basin levels in IDB member countries, and will assist in the design and implementation of IDB sovereign guarantees water resource management projects. The TSC will provide analytical services, tools and technical support to quantify the availability of water, plan for the sustainable use of available water, extreme event planning (floods/draughts), and evaluate the economic impact of water allocation among end-uses, and formulate scientifically-sound approaches for preserving ecosystem services provided by watersheds and aquifers.
