PN-T1243 : Strengthening the Capacity for the Promotion of Competitiveness and Economic Diversification

The main objective of this technical cooperation is to strengthen institutional capacities that contribute to promoting Panama's sustainable economic growth through improvements in the country's competitiveness and the promotion of emerging sectors. This cooperation is of operational support, contributing to the fulfillment of the execution of the Program for the Promotion of Competitiveness and the Diversification of the Economy (4899 / OC-PN) regarding activities that help promote sustainable growth; through improving the country's competitive conditions with the promotion of a digital environment favorable to business and the strengthening of the national quality system. This project will follow up on the indicative commitments proposed by the first loan operation in the programmatic series based on policy reforms. The products of this cooperation complement Technical Cooperation No. PN-T1197 called "Support for the Creative and Cultural Ecosystem of Panama" which is intended to promote and support economic activities of one of the emerging sectors to be promoted and which are those based on creativity, culture and innovation.
