The general objective of the program is to support the Government of Peru in improving the productivity and competitiveness of the economy. The specific objectives are: (i) to improve competitiveness through the strengthening of public institutions dedicated to this purpose; (ii) increase private investment through policy commitments aimed at improving the environment for investment; and (iii) increase the effort in innovation through policy commitments aimed at improving the environment for innovation.
