ES-T1311 : Improving the Productivity of MSME Freight Carriers in El Salvador (Trucks on Diet)

The solution consists of installing sensors and modems in cargo trucks, as well as a cloud-based platform in the authorities of the countries and the owners of the truck fleet will be able to monitor the location and weight in real time of the cargo carriers. The system also includes the installation of electronic virtual fences (geo-fences) in the pesofijas and mobile stations, under the responsibility of the Vice Ministry of Transportation, where those responsible for notifying the weight of the trucks equipped with the system and thus will not be necessary trucks stop at various stations.
