EC-T1502 : Promoting quality education in the Ecuadorian Amazon
Project Status: Implementation
The objective of this Technical Cooperation is to support the government of Ecuador in the production of diagnoses and compilation of strategies and policies to strengthen education in the Amazon, with emphasis on three important areas: infrastructure, teacher supply, and curricular adaptation. In order to compile strategies and policies to improve the educational offer in the Amazon, the analysis will include a review of the policies adopted in other countries with Amazonian territories, as well as policies in other regions that face similar obstacles (e.g. regions with a higher proportion of rural schools and remote).
