CO-T1665 : Amazonas Initiative: Investment Plan for Colombia within the framework of the Deforestation Containment Plan

The general objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to promote inclusive and socio-environmentally sustainable economic development models in the Colombian Amazon region, which benefit its diverse communities and promote the protection of natural capital. In line with the Amazon Initiative of the IDB (AI-IDB), it seeks to promote development models in four main areas: (1) Bioeconomy; (2) Agriculture, Livestock and Sustainable Forest Management; (3) Human capital; (4) Infrastructure and sustainable cities. The specific objective of the TC is to support the design of an Investment Plan under the framework of the AI-IDB that contributes to the Plan to Contain Deforestation in the Amazon region led by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development
