CO-T1467 : Redesign of the family support model to promote early childhood development

The goal of this technical cooperation (TC) is to support activities related to the redesign of the family support model (MF) to promote early childhood development (ECD) in Colombia, an initiative of the "De Cero a Siempre Strategy", in collaboration with the Comisión Intersectorial para la Primera Infancia (CIPI), the Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar (ICBF) and the Ministry of Education (MEN). Specifically, this technical cooperation aims to: (i) support activities to design the curricular contents of the redesigned MF; (ii) to support the development of an implementation structure, including its training strategy, that will recognise the challenges of different contexts where the redesigned MF will operate; (iii) support the implementation of a pilot test that will inform adjustments to the implementation strategy at a larger scale; (iv) support the implementation of the redesigned MF in rural and rural disperse areas, with a focus in those towns prioritised by the Peace Process ("municipios de paz"); and (v) support and start implementing an experimental impact evaluation that will be implemented in parallel to the gradual expansion of the redesigned MF.
