AR-T1304 : Support for Increasing Resilience for Extreme Hydroclimatic Events in Argentina

This technical cooperation (TC) will support the Ministry of Public Works, the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Water Policies and the National Water Agency, within the framework of CCLIP AR-O0019, promoting a program to improve institutional capacities focused on the management of water resources, specifically support to improve response capacity to flood events. This TC will assist the beneficiary to strengthen capacities in responding to flood events by (i) assessing institutional and technical gaps; (ii) analyzing the vulnerability to floods in the prioritized urban areas and/or basins in Argentina; and (iii) providing technical training on flooding assessment and modeling tool.
