Daniel Fuster, a citizen of Costa Rica, is the interim Manager of the Human Resources Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). He has served in the IDB as Chief of the Talent Management Division (2016-present), Advisor to the Vice-President for Finance and Administration (2013-2016), Head of Labor Relations, and HR Business Partner for several Bank Departments. During his career at the Bank, Mr. Fuster has worked in talent acquisition, recruitment and staffing, labor relations and conflict resolution both in Headquarters and the Bank’s 28 Country Offices. He also led institutional initiatives related to the development of Service Level Agreement environments for corporate functions and to the development of the IDB’s mediation system, as well as participated in the restructuring of some Departments. Before joining the IDB, Mr. Fuster was a litigating attorney, specialized in labor law.
Mr. Fuster holds a Licenciatura degree in Law from the University of Costa Rica in San José and a Doctoral Program DEA in Labor Law and Social Security from the University of Valencia, Spain.
