RG-T3994 : Model for Strengthening the Institutional Capacities of the Security and Justice Sector to Respond to Human Trafficking in Latin America and the Caribbean with a Gender Perspective and a Digital Approach

Improve the countries' response to Human Trafficking by strengthening the institutional capacities of the Security and Justice sector and coordinating with other sectors to combat this crime more effectively. To this end, the project has as components: (i) the development of regional protocols to provide a coordinated response to Human Trafficking from the security and justice sector (police, prosecutors and judiciary) with a gender focus and attention to digital technologies in the areas of prevention, protection, prosecution and transnational cooperation; (ii) training sector officials and providing technical assistance for the implementation of the protocols; and (iii) the implementation of a dialogue mechanism for the generation, dissemination, and exchange of state-of-the-art knowledge on good coordination practices for an effective response to Human Trafficking.
