RG-T2727 : Support for the development, rehabilitation and expansion of Sustainable Hydroelectric Projects in LAC

The main objective of this TC is to support the sustainable development of hydroelectric projects in LAC. The specific objectives are: (i) to generate and strengthen capacities in the region for the development, rehabilitation and repowering of hydroelectric projects; (Ii) support for the development of hydroelectric project studies and hydroelectric rehabilitation projects in the region, particularly supporting the development of terms of reference for these studies; (Iii) to estimate the rehabilitation needs of hydroelectric power plants in the region, identifying cost-benefit projects and the main challenges and good practices for their implementation; (Iv) identify and disseminate good practices in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of hydroelectric projects in LAC, including aspects of environmental and social management;
