EC-G1007 : Support for the business development of MSMEs in the provinces of the Mancomunidad del Norte of Ecuador (MNE)

The objective of this program is to increase the competitiveness of the business sector of the four provinces of the Mancomunidad del Norte del Ecuador (Esmeraldas, Carchi, Imbabura and Sucumbíos), with a focus on MSMEs, in an inclusive and sustainable manner. The specific objectives are: (i) to promote economic reactivation by urgently addressing the survival and development of established companies, particularly the most vulnerable (MSMEs) through technical assistance measures and strengthening business development support services, (ii) to strengthen strategic value chains with a focus on the productive linkages between MSMEs and big firms, (iii) stimulate the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship as a growth path for the MNE through the implementation and articulation of entrepreneurship support services.
