BO-T1282 : Support to the Ministry of Health in strengthening the healthcare model at the primary level of the health system

Support the Ministry of Health to strengthening the healthcare model in the first level, within the framework of the SAFCI policy and the integral management of health networks, with emphasis on obstetric and neonatal care, which strengthens the reduction of maternal and neonatal mortality in the country, and the integration of the primary care with the second and third level of care, thus ensuring the continuum of healthcare, with an intercultural and gender based approach. This objective is in line with the 2010-2010 Institutional Strategy Update (AB-3008) of social inclusion and equality and with the IDB's strategy in the country, helping to close the social gaps; strengthening of the primary health care model will increase accessibility to the health services in an equitable and timely manner. This TC is also aligned with the CRF indicators of Social Inclusion and Equality, Institutional Capacity, and Gender Equality and Diversity.
