BA-L1045 : Macroeconomic Emergency Programme to Protect Economic and Social Progress

The objective of the programme is to support the government's efforts to:(i) regain macroeconomic stability; (ii) implement fiscal adjustment measures that foster a sustainable fiscal balance in the short and medium term; and (iii) protect social spending to safeguard social gains achieved. The structure and content of the programme are aligned to the recently approved International Monetary Fund (IMF)Extended Fund Facility (EFF).The programme is structured as a Special Developing Lending with a single operation that will disburse in a single tranche.
