We work to support our member countries to strengthen the region’s transportation sector in an efficient, accessible, inclusive, sustainable, and secure manner, promoting poverty reduction, the quality of life of its inhabitants, economic development and regional integration. Our work focuses on five main areas: (i) the coverage, capacity, quality, and connectivity of transportation networks; (ii) cargo/freight logistics; (iii) sustainable urban transportation; (iv) regional integration; and (v) institutional development in the transportation sector.
