Technical cooperation projects at the national level (A and B)
Account A finances the preparation of diagnoses and action plans on MfDR’s implementation, as well as any other awareness activities that countries within the Region might consider appropriate.
Under the Account A, there is a country diagnosis on strategic planning, results-based budgeting, public investment system, public management system, and monitoring and evaluation. Also, an Action Plan (AP) proposal is developed.
Account B finances nonreimbursable Technical Cooperations in order to implement actions and projects institution-strengthening driven and which have been identified in the action plans.
Most of these operations aim to strengthen planning, budget, and monitoring and evaluation systems in a synchronized way, generally in conjunction with a number of sector ministries.
