Subnational Governments on MfDR’s Network

Similar to the national level, sub-national governments face difficulties when implementing MfDR programs due to their lack of experience. Therefore promoting activities to share and exchange experiences, best practices and lessons learned on program implementation is needed.

This Network started in July 2008 in response to a demand coming from representatives of sub-national government officials. It includes the authorities responsible for budget design/execution and planning at municipal and state level.

It is an open Network headed by a president, three Sub-Regional Vice-Presidents, and a National Coordinator per country.
