Planning Network

We strongly support the concept that there is no MfDR without strategic planning, but at the same time planning is not enough to have an MfDR approach.

Created in April 2010, the Planning Network (REDEPLAN) is a forum for Planning Ministers, Vice-Ministers, Secretaries, Directors or high rank officials with major responsibility in their countries’ national planning process. REDEPLAN’s main goal is to have a space where discussions about common problems and challenges, and experience’ sharing can take place as well as the making of the Region’s planning agenda. It is headed by a president, three Sub-Regional Vice-Presidents (one per Region), and a Technical Committee. This is a joint venture with ECLAC.
