Monitoring and Evaluation Network

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is a tool that still needs further development in most countries in the region. Only few countries have in place an institution with the necessary capacity to evaluate the government’s public policy and programs.

On June 2005, in a joint venture with the World Bank, PRODEV launched the M&E Network. More than 350 high and mid-rank country officials responsible for the monitoring and evaluation processes have been participating in the Network. This cluster allows the analysis of the achievements and difficulties encountered during M&E Systems’ institutionalization of, both at the national and sub-national levels. This is an open group that welcomes all interested people to participate. It's headed by CoPLAC-MfDR, World Bank, Annual Meeting Hostes from the recent past meeting, present meeting and future meeting.
