Civil Society and NGOs on MfDR Network

Civil Society, NGOs, media representatives and private sector play a key role in the process since they demand better results, and at the same time, suggesting solutions.

This Network started in October 2006 as a space where members from Civil Society and NGOs specialized in MfDR participate in a very constructive dialogue with their government counterparts (mainly from finance and/or planning ministries). The Network’s main goal is to discuss common challenges, enabling discussions and ideas’ exchange of ideas during the meeting which are an enriching learning experience for both parties and fosters a more specific and educated demand towards development results. More than 200 people from Civil Society and NGOs integrate this Network which is headed by two Co-Chairs, four Subregional Coordinators, and national focal points.
