WHAT IS PRIDI?
The Regional Project on Child Development Indicators (PRIDI) is an initiative launched by the Inter-American Development Bank that aims to generate high quality and regionally comparable data on the development of children aged 24 to 59 months.
PRIDI recognizes child development as a holistic and integrated process and captures
domains and factors associated with ECD

All data are provided in SPSS format. The analysis of PRIDI data should take into account the cluster sampling used in their collection. To do this, and correctly weight the statistics and apply the appropriate variance estimation techniques, analyses of PRIDI data should be performed using the IEA IDB-Analyzer in conjunction with SPSS (IBM Corporation, 2012). The IEA IDB-Analyzer provides a user-friendly interface to easily merge the different country data files and takes into account the sampling information to produce accurate statistical results. The User Guide describes the organization and content of the database and provides detailed instructions for analyzing the PRIDI database files.
