OVERVIEW
The Bank continues to play a responsive and catalytic role in attending to demand from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) countries and China for better, deeper, and diverse policy and knowledge exchanges. In June 2014, the Bank, through the Institutions for Development Department (IFD) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), jointly launched a series of policy and knowledge summits to discuss emerging topics of mutual interest among high level national and subnational policy makers, scholars, international experts, and private sector executives from China and LAC. This activity is funded by the Institutional Capacity Strengthening Fund (ICSF).
