Michelle supports OVE with its pilot project in Brazil, ReDeCA (Rede de Desenvolvimento de Capacidades de Avaliação), since 2021. She also supports the annual Validation cycles. Before working at the IDB, she worked with Inter-American political cooperation at the Organization of American States in the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment. She also has experience as a researcher for the Pericles Institute of Public Policy, in Brazil. She has an MSc in Comparative Social Change from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin, and a BA in International Relations from Pontificia Universidade Católica de Goiás. She researches issues on Nationalism, Migration and Gender and has various personal projects that aim to empower through awareness and often speaks and presents on Human Rights issues.
