Lina Pedraza is an Economics Senior Associate in the Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE) at the Inter-American Development Bank. At OVE, she has participated in the Country Program Evaluations of Colombia, El Salvador, Bolivia, and Perú, as well as in sector and thematic evaluations such as the Citizen Security and Justice Evaluation. Before joining OVE, Lina worked as an Evaluation Specialist at the National Planning Department (DNP) in Colombia where she led the design and development of evaluations of social programs, and policies of science technology, and innovation. Prior to her work at the DNP, she worked as a Junior Researcher at the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, where she studied the coffee industry and the social and economic situation of the coffee growers in the country and evaluated the organization’s policies.
She earned a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelors’ Degree in Economics from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia.
