Federico joined the Office of Evaluation and Oversight in 2019. Prior to OVE, he was a consultant for the Research Department and for the Employment Intensive Investment Program of the International Labor Organization (ILO), working to link climate change adaptation strategies and green infrastructure development with employment creation and social protection. He also has experience in macroeconomic and financial consulting in his home country (Uruguay). Federico was born and raised in Montevideo, where he graduated as an economist from the University of the Republic. He has a master's degree in Economics and another in Environment and Resource Management from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He also lived in Geneva and Brussels.
