Diego has more than ten years of experience working in financing for development, fiscal policy, and impact evaluations. He has previously worked for the IDB Invest, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), FONPLATA (based in Bolivia), Nacional Financiera, the Mexican Ministry of Finance, and Financiera Nacional de Desarrollo. He also participated in two impact evaluations, one related to agriculture productivity and the other to diabetes.
Diego holds a Master’s in International Development Policy from Georgetown University, a Master’s in Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Universidad del Valle de México.
